A SIGN ARTIST
It was 2008, and I saw a 'help wanted' ad for the Sign Artist position at my local Trader Joe's. I had always admired their signs, murals, and displays and loved that they kept it hand-drawn and hired real artists! I had never made a sign before but I made plenty of art! I got this! I said to myself. And I did! I got the job, somehow. It was a lot of learning at first, about process, supplies, and time management. I grew to adore this job and it was the start of a whole new business for me. After a cancer diagnoses and a lot of medical issues, I had to leave my dream job at TJ's. But I'll always be grateful to them for starting me on this journey.
16 years later I am still designing, constructing and hand-painting creative signs and displays under the umbrella of my art business. Beer tap signs, restaurant menus, event & directional signs, large commercial signs, gift signs, wedding decor, baby shower & birthday milestone boards, window painting! You name it, I make it! This page doesn't show half of the signs I've made over the years but you get the idea.
