WELCOME!

We are in search of local artists, residing in San Diego Counties and the surrounding area for this April (2025) animal and insect themed group art show. All accepted artwork must be brought in to the gallery on the 'load in' dates*. Our gallery is not set up to send or receive shipped items at this time.

All artists must be 18 years or older and capable of signing a contract.

All mediums, excluding digital, considered: drawings, paintings, collage, sculpture, and photography.

All artworks must fit the theme, having to do with animals or insects. If your artwork has a more subtle relationship to the theme, make sure to include that description in the last comment box of the application.

All accepted artwork must be ready for display, properly wired or secured with hardware. No loose papers (must be framed) and all sculptures must be able to stand alone on a platform or the ground.

Featured artists may also sell up to one dozen prints in our gallery store as long as they are securely packaged, priced, and labeled with the artist's name.

All prints & originals sold from our gallery are subject to a 20% commission.

• LOAD IN DAY (artwork must be dropped off to gallery) APRIL 7 , 10am-12noon & 5pm-7pm.

If you are not available during these drop-off windows, please note that in your application and we will see if arrangements can be made prior to those dates

• ART SHOW WILL BE ON DISPLAY IN OUR GALLERY APRIL 8-MAY 11

Open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays 11am-6pm

• +PLUS ART RECEPTION APRIL 12, 5pm-8pm during the 2nd Saturday Art Walk

  Artists are encouraged to attend but not required

• LOAD OUT DAY (artwork must be picked up from gallery) MAY 12, 10am-12noon & 5pm-7pm

APPLICATION DOES NOT MEAN ACCEPTANCE. We are a small space and selective with the number of pieces that are accepted in the group show. We like a range of small to big pieces, creative uses of the theme, and a range of mediums. We also like to showcase new and upcoming artists as well as known and seasoned artists. While we believe every artist deserves to have their artwork seen, we have limitations and we are trying to curate the best show with the artwork that is available to us. Thank you for understanding.
